How marron grow

Marron grow by moulting. Growth is dictated by two metrics: the time between moults (interval), and the weight ratio post-moult to pre-moult (increment).

Aquatic AI lab technicians have developed the most comprehensive moult data on individual animals available to unlock the drivers of growth.

Feed trials demonstrate potential

Early lab trials have demonstrated the viability of growing marron from juvenile to market size under controlled conditions. Aquatic AI have proposed a radically different approach to growing marron, and many were skeptical that this is a viable approach. However, the early data shows that not only is it possible to grow marron in this way, but that the data gathering benefits of our approach will lead to rapid iteration and improvement.
